We’ve all been there, got a fairly good exposure, composition, and then bam, plain ole picture.

How do we make them suckers pop?
Her hand n shoulder is dark, the background is too bright…
how do we balance the exposure, pop some color and make the image stand out from the rest?
what she taken a picture of anyway?
How I Got the Shot [HIGTS]

- I first swung my camera over to take a near level picture of my wife Cait.
- I then placed her to the Left of the frame so the background would show through and create some sort of image that may stand out.
- I then made sure my settings were on point as you see in the EXIF

So straight out of the camera you can tell the picture needs some work, so lets swing over to luminar and see what we can do to this guy to make it pop…
We were walking around Venice Italy when I swung my camera around to see this beauty taking a picture of who knows what?
I just snapped away, this was the best of the few I took.
I came home and found it to be quite plain. So I went ahed and did some trickery in the digital dark room and was pretty happy with the result.
We went on to walk further into downtown venice until I lost about 5 pounds and then ate about 5 more pounds of beautiful Italian Food.
It was a nice day.
